Brooks Contract Manufacturing and Machining Inc. is committed to managing the environmental impact of its operations. Both the employees and management recognize their obligation to protect the environment.
With the introduction of a Company-wide recycling initiative in 2010, Brooks transferred 40% of its general waste to recycling in its first year alone and is committed to a 60% waste transfer by 2013. The Company also follows complete adherence to EU WEEE Waste regulations; recycling batteries, fluorescent lights, printer cartridges, computers and many others. As well as recycling, the Company is also taking active steps to reduce its water consumption and has made commitments to reduce its carbon footprint.
By recognizing its challenges and meeting its responsibilities, Brooks is minimizing the impact it has and that of its customers on the environment.
